Cloud Account Statuses

The cloud accounts can have one of the following status depending on the discovery and scan status. The tasks that you can perform on a cloud account also depends on its status.

Status Description Actions Allowed
Discovered

This status indicates one of the following:

  • Discovered accounts that must be configured before Tenable Cloud Security can scan these accounts.

  • Configured accounts that are not yet scanned.

  • Configure

  • Ignore

Assessing Scan is in progress. None
Assessed Scan is successful for the account.

  • Ignore

Failed Scanning of the account failed.
  • Configure
  • Ignore

Ignored The account is excluded from the scan. If you configure an ignored account, the account status remains Ignored. Configure and scan these accounts to move the status to Assessed or Failed, depending on the scan status.

Suspended The account is suspended by the cloud provider and can be scanned only after it is reactivated. None
Deleted The account has been deleted.
