View Asset Activity

Required User Role: Basic, Scan Operator, Standard, Scan Manager, or Administrator

In the asset Activity tab, you can view asset history to help you troubleshoot issues. You can see when your asset was discovered, seen, updated, tagged, or deleted, as well as relevant metadata about the activity. You can also search the asset activity log.

To view asset activity in the new interface:

  1. In the upper-left corner, click the button.

    The left navigation plane appears.

  2. In the left navigation plane, click Assets.

    The Assets page appears.

  3. In the assets table, click the asset where you want to view details.

    The asset detail page appears.

  4. Click the Activity tab.

    The asset activity events table appears.

  5. To see more details for an event, click the event row.

    The Activity details plane appears and displays metadata for the event. Depending on the event, the metadata can include information such as: the scan that generated the event, the event date, properties that were changed on the asset, and the user who performed the action.

    Tip: To view the scan that generated an Asset Discovered, Asset Seen, or Asset Updated event, click the link to the scan under Seen by.
