NTP Troubleshooting

If you experience an issue with your NTP connection, confirm you are allowing outbound traffic to UDP port 123. If necessary, use the terminal to manage your NTP server-on-prem time synchronization.

To manage your NTP server-on-prem time synchronization:

  1. Log in to the on-prem configuration interface.

  2. Click Terminal.

    The Terminal page appears.

  3. Run the following command to check your NTP server-on-prem time synchronization:

    chronyc –a tracking

    The system returns data about your time synchronization.

  4. If the times are not synchronized, run the following command to force a synchronization:

    chronyc –a makestep

    The system synchronizes the time. The status 200 OK indicates a successful synchronziation.
