View Scan Notes

Required User Role: Basic, Scan Operator, Standard, Scan Manager, or Administrator

Required Scan Permissions: Can View

On the scan results page, the Notes tab appears only when encounters problems while running the scan.

To view scan notes:

  1. In the top navigation bar, click Scans.

    The My Scans page appears.

  2. In the scans table, click the name of the scan for which you want to view the scan notes.

    The scan results page appears. If encountered problems while running the latest scan, the Notes tab is active.

  3. Review the scan notes to determine how to resolve the scan problem.

    For example, if an Invalid Target note is present, check the target parameters in the scan configuration.
