Create a Microsoft Azure Connector

Before you begin:

To create a Microsoft Azure connector:

  3. In the upper-left corner of the page near the Connectors label, click the button.

    The Select a Connector plane appears.

  4. In the Select a Connector section, click Microsoft Azure.

    The Microsoft Azure settings plane appears.

  5. In the Connector Name box, type a name for the connector.
  6. In the Application ID box, type the Azure application ID that you obtained when configuring Microsoft Azure.
  7. In the Tenant ID box, type the Azure Tenant ID obtained when configuring Microsoft Azure.
  8. In the Client Secret box, type the client secret obtained when configuring Microsoft Azure.
  9. In the Subscription ID box, type the subscription ID obtained when configuring Microsoft Azure.
  10. (Optional) To add linked Azure subscriptions, in the Linked Subscriptions section, click the button.

    The Add Linked Accounts settings plane appears.

    1. In the Subscription ID box, type the subscription ID for the Azure account that you want to link. For information about configuring linked subscriptions, see Link Azure Subscription.

      Tip: To display error messages, hover over the Subscription ID box.

    2. (Optional) Click the button next to Add Another Account to add additional linked Azure accounts.
    3. Click Add to add the linked accounts. displays the Microsoft Azure settings plane, and the accounts you linked are listed under Linked Subscriptions.

  11. Use the slider button to enable or disable the Schedule Import option.
  12. In the Import text box, type the frequency with which sends data requests to the Azure API server. Additionally, in the drop-down box select Minutes, Hours, or Days.
  13. Note: By default, requests new and updated asset records every 12 hours.

  14. Click Save. saves the connector.


    Click Save & Import. saves the connector and begins importing your assets from Azure. There may be a short delay before your assets appear in
