Configure Two-Factor Authentication

This procedure can be performed by any user. Administrators cannot configure two-factor authentication for other users.

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Settings, and then, on the left pane, click My Account.

    The My Account page appears.

  2. In the Two-Factor section, click the Edit button.

    The Two-Factor Setup box appears.

  3. Type your mobile phone number in the box.
  4. Click the Next button.

    The Verification Code screen appears, and sends a text message with a verification code to the phone number.

  5. Type the verification code in the box.
  6. Click the Next button.
  7. The Success screen appears.
  8. Click the Close button.
  9. (Optional) Select the Send backup email check box if you want to also send a verification code to the email associated with your user account.
