Edit a Group
Required User Role: Administrator
To edit a group:
In the top navigation bar, click Settings.
The About page appears.
In the left navigation bar, click Groups.
The Groups page appears.
In the groups table, click the name of the group that you want to edit.
The Edit Group page appears, displaying the Group Settings section.
You can edit the following group properties:
- In the Group Settings tab, in the Name box, type a name for the group.
If the group already includes users, those users appear in a table.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click the Add User button.
The Add User window appears.
In the User box, select the user that you want to add to the group.
Tip: The User box includes a search field. In the search field, type the name of a user in order to filter the list of users.
The user is added to the group and appears on the table on the Manage Users section.
Click the Manage Users tab.
The groups table appears.
Click the button next to the user that you want to remove from the group.
The Remove User dialog box appears.
Tenable.io removes the user from the group. If there are no users left in the group, the table disappears.
