Edit a Scanner Group

Required User Role: Scan Manager or Administrator

To edit a scanner group in the new interface:

  1. In the upper-left corner, click the button.

    The left navigation plane appears.

  2. In the left navigation plane, click Settings.

    The Settings page appears.

  3. Click the Sensors widget.

    The Sensors page appears. By default, Agents is selected in the left navigation menu and the Linked Agents tab is active.

  4. In the left navigation menu, click Nessus.

    The Linked Scanners tab appears. This tab contains a table of Nessus sensors linked to your instance.

  5. Click the Scanner Groups tab.

    The Scanner Groups tab appears. This tab contains a table listing the scanner groups you have permission to use or manage.

  6. (Optional) Search the table for the group you want to modify.

  7. In the scanner group table, roll over the scanner group you want to modify.
  8. Click the button.

    The scanner group plane appears.

  9. In the name text box, modify the name for the scanner group.
  10. In the Users & Groups section, modify user permissions for the scanner group.

  11. Click Save to save your changes.
