VR Optional Configuration

Note:Tenable does not support Domain Separation because it requires data management at the individual domain level of a multi-level domain. Domain Separation is a specialty product for ServiceNow and the Tenable app suite features a single un-layered domain for the average enterprise implementation.

Configure Tenable Additional Findings

For a Vulnerable Item:

  1. In the left-hand pane, navigate to Vulnerability > Vulnerabilities > Vulnerable Items.
  2. In the Vulnerable Items list, click on a vulnerability.
  3. Right-click on the Vulnerable Item header and navigate to Configure > Form Layout.

  4. In the Available list, select Tenable Additional Findings.
  5. Click the > arrow to add Tenable Additional Findings to the Selected list.
  6. Click Save.

    When you add or edit an asset, the Tenable additional fields appear on the Vulnerable Item Entry page.

Configure Tenable Plugin Additional Info

For Third-Party Vulnerabilities:

  1. In the left-hand pane, navigate to Vulnerability > Libraries > Third-Party.
  2. In the Third Party Vulnerability Entires list, click on a vulnerability.
  3. Right-click on the Third Party Vulnerability Entry header and navigate to Configure > Form Layout.

  4. In the Available list, select Tenable Plugin Additional Info.
  5. Click the > arrow to add Tenable Plugin Additional Info to the Selected list.
  6. Click Save.

    When you add or edit a vulnerability, the Tenable additional fields appear on the Third Party Vulnerability Entry page.
