View Initiatives Data

Use the Exposure Response page to view high-level vulnerability information about all your Tenable Vulnerability Management child containers. Tenable MSSP Portal fetches this data based on the initiatives running in all the child containers. For more information about these initiatives, see Exposure Response.

To view the Exposure Response page:

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Exposure Response.

The Exposure Response page appears with the vulnerability details of the containers in a table format. The table includes the following details.

Tip: In the Initiatives Overview table, clicking the data in a column (except New Findings vs Remediation) for a specific child container redirects you to the Exposure Response page of that child container and opens the specific initiative that you selected in the Tenable MSSP Portal.

    Column Description
    Initiatives Overview

The list of initiatives that you created from the Tenable MSSP Portal for collecting data from the child containers.

Container Name Name of the child container.
    New Findings vs Remediation

The graph shows the trend of new findings and the corresponding remediations over a selected timeframe: 7 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or a custom date.

To view the complete graph details, click the graph image in the column to open it in a separate window. Choose a date range in the upper-right corner of the window to view the trend for that period.

    Assets in Scope/Total

The number of assets included in the initiative versus the total number of assets in the child container.

Average Age of Vulnerabilities/SLA The average number of days since the vulnerabilities were detected versus the actual SLA to remediate the vulnerabilities. Hover over the value to see the difference or change in the average age of vulnerabilities within the specified SLA compared to the previous day. A green down arrow symbol indicates a lower variation and a red up arrow indicates a higher variation. This helps you to quickly view the remediation progress.
    Total Findings

The total number of vulnerabilities detected for the child container. Hover over the value to see the difference or change in the total number of findings compared to the previous day. A green down arrow shows a decrease in the number of findings whereas a red up arrow shows an increase.

Percentage Remediated The percentage of resolved vulnerabilities. Hover over the value to see the difference or change in the percentage compared to the previous day. A green up arrow symbol indicates an increase in the percentage of remediated vulnerabilities and a red down arrow symbol indicates a decrease in the remediation percentage.
Avg Time to Remediate/SLA The average time taken to remediate the vulnerabilities versus the actual SLA. Hover over the value to see the difference between the average time to remediate and the SLA compared to the previous day. A green down arrow symbol indicates a shorter remediation time and a red up arrow indicates a longer remediation time.
Note: Tenable MSSP Portal fetches the exposure response data from the child containers via initiatives at regular intervals. The first data synchronization can take up to 30 minutes. The data refresh happens every 12 hours.
