Knowledge Base

A Knowledge Base (KB) is saved with every scan performed. This is an ASCII text file containing a log of information relevant to the scan performed and results found. A KB is often useful during cases where you need support from Tenable, Inc., as it allows Customer Support staff to understand exactly what Nessus did, and what information was found. You can download a KB from the Host Details section.

Only scans performed on the host will have an associated KB.
