group_duplicate_name
This built-in check ensures that each group name is unique. It succeeds if that is the case and fails otherwise.
Duplicate group names in /etc/group
create problems, since it is unclear which group privileges are being used. This means that a duplicate group name may end up having members or privileges it should not have had in the first place.
Delete or rename duplicate group names.
