Tenable Vulnerability Management Platform Release Notes - July 2019

Important Highlights from this Release

Features

  • Tenable Vulnerability Management
    • PCI Internal Scan Policy - Disabled plugins that are only relevant for PCI external scans (108714, 33929, 33931)

    • Plugin outputs for Nessus scan exports are truncated after 5 million characters. Truncated outputs end with the string "***TRUNCATED***"

    • General Availability (GA) of Dynamic VPR (VM-201) was announced on 06/19/2019. With this release, customers will get the latest plugin-level VPR scores for their vulnerabilities every day. Dynamic VPR enables customers to prioritize vulnerabilities based on the ever changing threat landscape. Currently customers have to run a scan to get the latest VPR scores.

    • General Availability (GA) of Networks (ASSETS-16) was announced on 06/19/2019. Customers with overlapping IP environments will now be able to collect asset information on their entire network without the need to manage or create several containers.

    • In the New Interface, customers can create both a Vulnerabilities or an Asset widget defined by the supported filters.
