Edit a User Role
Required Tenable Security Center User Role: Administrator or organizational user with appropriate permissions. For more information, see User Roles.

To edit the permissions of a custom or system-provided role:
- 
                                                        Log in to Tenable Security Center via the user interface. 
- 
                                                        Click Users > Roles. The Roles page appears. 
- 
                                                        Right-click the row for the user role you want to edit. The actions menu appears. -or- Select the check box for the user role you want to edit. The available actions appear at the top of the table. 
- 
                                                        Click More > Edit. The Edit Role page appears. 
- (Optional) Modify the Name
- (Optional) Modify the Description.
- (Optional) Modify the following permissions, as described in User Roles:- Scanning Permissions
- Asset Permissions
- Analysis Permissions
- Domain Permissions
- Organization Permissions
- User Permissions
- Reporting Permissions
- System Permissions
- Workflow Permissions

                                                        Click Submit. Tenable Security Center saves your configuration.
