Manage Active Scans
Required Tenable Security Center User Role: Organizational user with appropriate permissions. For more information, see User Roles.

Navigate to the Active Scans Page
To manage active scans in Tenable Security Center, you must first navigate to the Active Scans page:

Log in to Tenable Security Center via the user interface.

Click Scans > Active Scans.

The Active Scans page appears.
View Active Scan Details
To view details for a specific scan:

Do one of the following:

Right-click the row for the scan. The actions menu appears.

Select the check box for the scan. The available actions appear at the top of the table.

Click View.
-
The View Active Scan page appears.
Edit an Active Scan
To modify an existing scan:

Do one of the following:
-
Right-click the row for the scan. The actions menu appears.

Select the check box for the scan. The available actions appear at the top of the table.

Click Edit.
-
The Edit Active Scan page appears.

Modify the scan options as needed.

Click Submit. Tenable Security Center saves your configuration.
Copy an Active Scan
To create a copy of a single scan:

Do one of the following:

Right-click the row for the scan. The actions menu appears.

Select the check box for the scan. The available actions appear at the top of the table.

Click Copy. Tenable Security Center creates a copy of the scan.
Copy Multiple Active Scans
To create copies of several scans at once:

In the table, select the check box for each scan you want to copy. The available actions appear at the top of the table.

At the top of the table, click Copy.

A confirmation window appears.

Click Copy. Tenable Security Center creates a copy of the scan.
Delete an Active Scan
To remove a single scan:

In the table, right-click the row for the scan. The actions menu appears.

Click Delete.

A confirmation window appears.

Click Delete. Tenable Security Center deletes the scan.
Delete Multiple Active Scans
To remove several scans at once:

In the table, select the check box for each scan you want to delete. The available actions appear at the top of the table.

At the top of the table, click Delete.

A confirmation window appears.

Click Delete. Tenable Security Center deletes the scans.
