Edit Your Time Settings

Caution: Do not edit time settings on Tenable Core + Tenable OT Security using any method other than the one described in the following process.

To edit the system time and time zone settings for your Tenable Core instance:

Note: If your environment uses DHCP and your DHCP server supplies NTP servers that you do not want to use, you need to tell the system to ignore them by supplying the PEERNTP=no option in /etc/sysconfig/network.

1. Log in to Tenable Core via the user interface, as described in Log In to Tenable Core.

   The Tenable Core web user interface page appears.

2. Access the Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager interface, as described in Configure Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager in the Tenable Core + Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager User Interface.:

   The Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager interface appears.

3. Log in to Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager.

4. Modify your system time settings as described in the Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager User Guide.

   Tenable Core + Tenable OT Security Enterprise Manager reboots.
