Create a Ticket for an Issue

You can create a Jira ticket for an issue. The Jira ticket allows you to assign and track the issue until its resolution.

Before you begin:

To create a ticket for an issue:

  1. Access Tenable.cs.
  2. In the left navigation bar, click Issues.
    The Failing Policies page appears.

  3. On the Failing Policies page, do one of the following:

    • Select the required failing policy to view its details.

    • Use the Search box to search and select a specific failing policy.

    • Use the following filters to filter and select a specific failing policy:

      Filter Description
      Projects Filters resource types by projects.
      Cloud accounts Filters resource types by cloud accounts.
      Repositories Filters resource types by repositories.
      More filters Filters the results by Severity, Policy Groups, or Source Types.
      Clear filters Clears the filters.
      Show Results Displays the filtered results.
    • The Failing Policy pane appears.
  4. In the Impacted resources section, select the check box next to one or more impacted resources and click Create a ticket.

    The Create a jira ticket window appears.

  5. (Optional) Modify the Assignee and Priority of the issue.

  6. Click Submit.

    A message confirms that Tenable.cs created the Jira ticket for the issue. You can click the link to the issue in the message to view the Jira ticket.
