Required Tenable.io Vulnerability Management User Role: Basic, Scan Operator, Standard, Scan Manager, or Administrator

A cloud resource is a broad term that refers to any compute instance, storage object, networking device, or object you can create or configure within a cloud platform.

Examples of cloud resources include assets such as virtual servers, buckets, databases, disks, and containers. Other examples of cloud resources are configurable items such as resource groups, policies, users, and roles.

On the Assets page, you can drill down to view only your cloud resource assets so you can get a holistic view of your cloud security stance.

To view your cloud resource assets:

  1. In the upper-left corner, click the Menu button.

    The left navigation plane appears.

  2. In the left navigation plane, in the Explore section, click Assets.

The Assets page appears. By default, the assets dashboard is visible and All is selected in the Assets drop-down box.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click List.

The Assets page appears in list view, with a table containing a list of all your assets.

  4. In the Assets drop-down box, select Cloud Resources.

The Assets table shows your cloud resource assets.
