Host Audits Findings

Required Tenable.io Vulnerability Management User Role: Basic, Scan Operator, Standard, Scan Manager, or Administrator
Note: Tenable.io retains findings data for only 15 months.
On the Findings page, you can drill down to view only findings for your host audits.
To view your host audit findings:

In the upper-left corner, click the
button.
The left navigation plane appears.

In the left navigation plane, in the Explore section, click Findings.
The Findings page appears, showing a table that lists your findings. By default, the Vulnerabilities tab is active.

In the upper-left side of the page, in the Findings drop-down box, select Host Audits.
The Findings table shows only your host audits findings.

In the host audits findings table, you can perform any or all the following actions:

Refine the table data. For more information, see Tenable.io Tables.

Filter the findings table.

View findings details for your host audits on the Host Audits Findings Details page.

Export your host audits findings.

Host Audits Findings
You can view basic information about your host audits findings in the following table:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Asset ID |
The UUID of the asset where a scan detected the finding. This value is unique to Tenable.io. |
Asset Name |
The name of the asset on which the scanner performed a compliance check. |
Audit Name | The name of the compliance check the scanner performed on the affected asset. |
Audit File | The name of the audit file the scanner used to perform the compliance check. |
Result |
The outcome of the compliance check. |
Plugin Name |
The name of the plugin that identified the compliance check finding. |
State |
The state of the compliance check finding. |
First Audited |
The date and time when a scan first performed the compliance check on the asset. |
Last Audited |
The date and time when a scan last performed the compliance check on the asset. |
Control ID |
The UUID of the control instance applied on the system that hosts the impacted asset. This value is unique to Tenable.io. This column appears in the table by default. |
Actions |
Shows you a button that allows you to complete certain actions with the finding. This column appears in the table by default and you cannot remove or configure it. To view and complete actions with a finding in the findings table:
