View or Edit a Network
Required Tenable.io Vulnerability Management User Role: Scan Manager or Administrator
To view or edit the configuration of an existing network:

In the upper-left corner, click the
button.
The left navigation plane appears.

In the left navigation plane, click Settings.
The Settings page appears.

Click the Sensors tile.
The Sensors page appears. By default, the Nessus Scanners tab is active and Cloud Scanners is selected in the drop-down box.

In the drop-down box, select Networks.
The list of networks appears.

In the networks table, click the network you want to edit.
The Network Details page appears and the Settings tab is active.
- Edit the name or description of the network. The name can contain any alphanumeric and special characters except < and >.
- Click the Asset Age Out toggle to enable or disable the permanent deletion of assets in your network after a specific number of days.
- In the text box, type the number of days that Tenable.io waits before permanently deleting assets that have not been seen on a scan. The minimum value is 14 and the maximum value is 365. Note: When enabled, this option overrides default asset deletion windows and Tenable.io immediately deletes assets in the specified network that have not been seen for the specified number of days. All asset records and associated vulnerabilities are deleted and cannot be recovered. The deleted assets no longer count towards your license.
- In the text box, type the number of days that Tenable.io waits before permanently deleting assets that have not been seen on a scan. The minimum value is 14 and the maximum value is 365.

Click Save.
Tenable.io saves your changes, and the Networks page appears.
