Required Tenable.io Vulnerability Management User Role: Basic, Scan Operator, Standard, Scan Manager, or Administrator

On the Exports page, you can view all the exports created on your account. You can see the source, type, format, status, size, creation date, and author for each export.

To view your exports:

  1. In the upper-left corner, click the Menu button.

    The left navigation plane appears.

  2. In the left navigation plane, click Settings.

    The Settings page appears.

  3. Click the Exports tile.

    The Exports page appears. This page displays a list of exports associated with your Tenable.io account.

  4. (Optional) Refine the table data. For more information, see Interact with a Customizable Table.

  5. The Exports table contains the following columns:

    Column Description
    Name The name of the export file.

    The data source for the export in Tenable.io. The possible sources are:

    • Assets — Information about all the assets on your Tenable.io license.

    • Assets Host —Information about assets Tenable.io identified on your host during a scan.

    • Findings - Vulnerabilities - Host — Information about the vulnerability findings Tenable.io identified on your host during a scan.

    • Users — Information about the users assigned to your account.


    The type of export, either manual or scheduled.


    The format of the export file, either CSV or JSON.


    The status of the export. The possible statuses are:

    • PendingTenable.io is initiating the export process.

    • RunningTenable.io is preparing the requested file.

    • CompletedTenable.io has successfully completed the export process. The export file is now available to download.

    • CanceledTenable.io canceled the export process. A Canceled status appears when a user stops a pending or running export.

    • Failed — The export process failed.


    The reason the export attempt failed.

    By default, the Reason column is hidden in. For information about how to add the column to the table, see Interact with a Customizable Table.

    A reason value appears only if the export status is Failed.


    The size of the export file.

    A size value appears only if the export status is Completed.

    Creation Date The date and time a user created the export.
    Expires On The date and time the export expires.
    Author The user who initiated the export.

    The actions you can perform with the export.
