Users

User accounts provide access to Tenable.io and manage permissions for Tenable.io resources. Only administrators can create and manage user accounts.

To access the User page, click Settings in the left navigation plane, then click the Users tile.

To view users and user data for your Tenable.io instance:

The Users page displays a table of all Tenable.io user accounts. This documentation refers to that table as the users table.

Each row of the users table includes the user name, the dates of the last login and last failed login attempt, the total number of failed attempts, and the role assigned to the account.

The users table contains the following columns:

  • Name — The username of the account.
  • Last Login — The date on which the user last successfully logged in to the Tenable.io interface.
  • Last Failed — The date on which the user failed to log in to the Tenable.io interface.
  • Total Failed — The total number of failed login attempts for the user. This number resets when either an administrator or the user resets the password for the user account.
