Enable a User Account

Required User Role: Administrator

When you disable a user account, you can enable an account again to restore a user's access.

To enable a user account:

1. In the upper-left corner, click the button.

   The left navigation plane appears.

2. In the left navigation plane, click Settings.

   The Settings page appears.

3. Click the Access Control tile.

   The Access Control page appears. On this page, you can control user and group access to resources in your Tenable Vulnerability Management account.

4. Select the user or users you want to enable:

   Select a single user:

   1. In the users table, in the row for the user account you want to enable, click the button.

      The action buttons appear in the row.

      Note: Users appear grayed out while they are disabled.

   2. In the row, click the button.

      A confirmation window appears.

   Select multiple users:

   1. In the users table, click the check box for each user you want to enable.

      The action bar appears at the bottom of the page.

   2. In the action bar, click the button.

      A confirmation window appears.

5. In the confirmation window, click Enable.

   A success message appears.

   Tenable Vulnerability Management enables the selected user or users. In the users table, an enabled user appears in black.
