Required Permissions to Modify Settings

To modify settings in Tenable AI Exposure, you must have the AI Administrator role. Tenable One licenses include these administrator permissions.

Note: To assign this role to a user, you must first add this role in Tenable Vulnerability Management. For information, see Manage Custom Roles in the Tenable Vulnerability Management User Guide.

To add the AI Administrator role:

  1. In Tenable Vulnerability Management, navigate to Settings > Access Control.

    The Access Control page appears.

  2. Click the Roles tab.

  3. Click Add Role.

    The Add Role page appears.

  4. In the left navigation pane, click AI.

    The AI options appear.

  5. Click the Enable AI toggle to enable AI Security.

  6. In the AI Exposure Admin section, select the Use checkbox.

Assign this role to a user to modify settings in Tenable AI Exposure. See Manage User Accounts.
