View License Use

In Tenable Nessus Essentials, a Tenable Nessus Expert trials, or a Tenable Nessus Professional trial, you can check how many hosts you have scanned out of your license limit.

To view your license use:

1. In the top navigation bar, click Settings.

   The About page appears.

2. Click the License Utilization tab.

   Tenable Nessus shows hosts that currently count against your license limit and the following information:

   Column	Description
   IP	The IP address of the host.
   Name	The hostname of the host, if available.
   First Scanned	The date Tenable Nessus first scanned the host for vulnerabilities, which is the date the host started counting towards your license.
   Last Scanned	The number of days ago Tenable Nessus last scanned the host for vulnerabilities. If Tenable Nessus does not scan the host for 90 days, the host stops counting towards the license limit.
