Explore Findings

The Explore - Findings page is the central location for viewing vulnerability findings across your Tenable Security Center Director environment. Use the Explore - Findings page to search and filter your vulnerability data, identify security risks, and export findings for further analysis.

Findings are single instances of vulnerabilities on your assets, uniquely identified by plugin ID, port, and protocol. Every finding in Tenable Security Center Director belongs to a repository — the data store that holds the scan results for a given network segment or organizational unit.

Tenable Security Center Director automatically creates or updates findings when scans complete or you import scan results. Each finding is scoped to a repository. This means the Explore - Findings page reflects the current state of your environment rather than the results of any individual scan. Retention is governed by your repository configuration.
