Remove Industrial Security from Linux

To remove Industrial Security from Linux:

  1. Stop Industrial Security with the following command:

    # service industrial-security stop

  2. Determine the name of the RPM file with the following command:

    # rpm -qa | grep industrial-security

    The name of the RPM file appears.

  3. Remove the Industrial Security RPM with the following command:

    # rpm -e <RPM name>

  4. Some user-created and user-modified files are not removed with the -e command. Remove any remaining files with the following command:

    # rm -rf /opt/industrial-security

    Industrial Security is removed.
