License Utilization
In Tenable Nessus Essentials or a Tenable Nessus Professional trial, you have a license limit that determines the number of hosts that you can scan.
Hosts discovered by a host discovery scan do not count towards your license limit. If you have not scanned a host in 90 days, it no longer counts towards the license limit. You can view your license use to see what hosts are counting towards the license limit and when Tenable Nessus last scanned hosts.
The host limit applies to both of the following:
- Number of hosts per scan.
- Number of unique hosts scanned cumulatively across all scans.
