Diagnostics Tool Release Notes

Tenable One Identity Exposure provides a diagnostics tool that allows you to retrieve logs, among other information, related to your Tenable One Identity Exposure installation so that our customer support can analyze and assist you with any issue. Tenable One Identity Exposure Diagnostics Tool 1.1.0 (2025-06-10)

In this version, the Tenable One Identity Exposure Diagnostics Tool:

  • Added new log sources for the Relay, Relay MSI installer, Envoy (client/server), ELD, ELS, and Health Check.

Bug Fix
Tenable One Identity Exposure resolved the machine deduplication logic that incorrectly identified machines with the same IP address or fully qualified domain name as duplicates.
Tenable One Identity Exposure corrected an infinite loop condition that occurred during the Kapteyn status gathering process, causing the application to hang indefinitely.
Tenable One Identity Exposure fixed rights mismatch issue where Administrator account permissions were incorrectly validated between local machine accounts and domain accounts, causing authentication failures.
Tenable One Identity Exposure resolved Windows Remote Management (WinRM) configuration settings that were preventing proper remote connections.
Tenable One Identity Exposure addressed misaligned supported configurations between SEN (Security Engine Node), DL (Directory Listener), and SM (Storage Manager).

Tenable One Identity Exposure Diagnostics Tool 1.0.2 (2023-04-17)

In this version, the Tenable One Identity Exposure Diagnostics Tool:

  • Recovers the list of installed applications on the machine where you launched the script, and stores this information in a zip archive under the System folder in a file called installed-applications.txt.

  • Updated the --commands output to list the registry keys that the tool can read.

  • Orders the list of processes by descending RAM usage.

  • Calls the list of processes by their display names when these are available.
