Tenable Nessus Network Monitor 6.2.1 - 2023-05-09
Note: This release includes a fix for a potential vulnerability. For more information, see the Tenable Product Security Advisory.

The following are changed functionality and performance enhancements included in Tenable Nessus Network Monitor 6.2.1:
-
Support for ERSPAN Type 2 Tunneling
-
The NIAP protocol has changed to disallow OCSP Signer certificates that do not have the OCSP Signer flag in the Extended Key Usage section of the SSL certificate. If you have enabled NIAP Mode in a previous version of Tenable Nessus Network Monitor, then Tenable Nessus Network Monitor 6.2.1 will not turn off NIAP Mode if there are issues with your SSL certificates.
For more information about the features and functionality supported in this release, see the Tenable Nessus Network Monitor 6.2.x User Guide and the Tenable Nessus Network Monitor Deployment Guide.

The following are security updates included in NNM 6.2.1:
-
Support for OpenSSL 3.0.8
Note: Due to security issues with OpenSSL 3.0.5, Tenable recommends updating to Tenable Nessus Network Monitor 6.1.1 or later.
-
Support for the OpenSSL FIPS Module

Support is available for the following platforms:
-
RH7/CentOS7, version 7.9 (64-bit)

Note: High Performance Mode is not available for Tenable Nessus Network Monitor 6.2.x in RH 9.0 because Red Hat does not support the igb_uio linux driver. This driver will be replaced by the VFIO linux driver in a future release.
-
Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 (all 64-bit)
