Miscellaneous Credentials

Configure the following options for all miscellaneous credentials, including options specific for your authentication method: Citrix Options and Nutanix Prism Central Options.

Option Description

Name (Required)

A name for the credential.
Description A description for the credential.

Tag

A tag for the credential. For more information, see Tags.

Citrix Options

The following table describes the additional options to configure for Citrix credentials.

Option Description Default
Port (Required) The TCP port that Citrix listens on for communications from Tenable Security Center. 443
Username (Required) The username for the scanning Citrix account that Tenable Security Center uses to perform checks on the target system. --
Password (Required) The password for the Citrix user. --
HTTPS

When enabled, Tenable Security Center connects using secure communication (HTTPS).

When disabled, Tenable Security Center connects using standard HTTP.

Verify SSL Certificate

When enabled, Tenable Security Center verifies that the SSL certificate on the server is signed by a trusted CA.

Tip: If you are using a self-signed certificate, disable this setting.

Nutanix Prism Central Options

The following table describes the additional options to configure for Nutanix Prism Central credentials.

Nutanix Host

(Required) The hostname or IP address for the Nutanix Prism Central host. --
Nutanix Port (Required) The port for the Nutanix Prism Central host. 9440
Username (Required) The username for the Nutanix Prism Central account. --

Discover Hosts

When enabled, Tenable Security Center adds all discovered Nutanix hosts to the list of scan targets. enabled
Discover Virtual Machines When enabled. Tenable Security Center adds all discovered Nutanix Virtual Machines to the list of scan targets. enabled
HTTPS

When enabled, Tenable Security Center connects using secure communication (HTTPS).
