Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.1 - 2023-11-29

Note: This release includes a fix for a potential vulnerability. For more information, see the Tenable Product Security Advisory.

The following are changed functionality and performance enhancements included in Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.1:

  • Changed the Web Proxy Method option in the Web Proxy Settings from a text box to a drop-down list.

The following are security updates included in Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.1:

  • Support for OpenSSL 3.0.12

  • Support for zlib-1.3

  • Support for mobile-detect 1.4.5

  • Support for jquery.scrollTo 2.1.3

  • Support for jquery-file-upload 10.8.0

  • Support for Handlebars.js 4.7.8

Support is available for the following platforms:

  • RH7/CentOS7, version 7.9 (64-bit)

  • RH8/CentOS8, versions 8.2-8.6 (64-bit)

    Note: You can run Tenable Network Monitor in PCAP mode in Oracle Linux 8 in Red Hat Compatible Kernel (RHCK) mode.

  • RH9, version 9.0 (64-bit)

    Note: High Performance Mode is not available for Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.x in RH 9.0 because Red Hat does not support the igb_uio Linux driver. This driver will be replaced by the VFIO Linux driver in a future release.

  • Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 (all 64-bit)

Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.0 - 2023-10-25

The following are changed functionality and performance enhancements included in Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.0:

  • Tenable Network Monitor uses more reliable algorithms to discover MAC addresses.

  • Tenable Network Monitor limits the number of hosts and the file size for uploads to Tenable Vulnerability Management.

The following are security updates included in Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.0:

  • Support for pcre 8.45

  • Support for libjpeg 9e

  • Support for OpenSSL 3.0.11

Tenable Network Monitor 6.3.0 includes the following bug fix:

  • Fixed an issue where NNM plugins were reporting an incorrect version of Google Chrome.

Support is available for the following platforms:

  • RH7/CentOS7, version 7.9 (64-bit)

  • RH8/CentOS8, versions 8.2-8.6 (64-bit)

  • RH9, version 9.0 (64-bit)
