Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.4 - 2026-05-14

Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.4 includes the following bug fixes:

Fixed an issue where Tenable Network Monitor RPMs for RH9/OL9 packages were not properly digitally signed, ensuring that users can verify the authenticity and integrity of the software during installation.

Fixed an issue where Tenable Network Monitor incorrectly truncated binary updates when the download chunk size exceeded 1 MB. This truncation resulted in file corruption and MD5 hash mismatches, preventing the software from upgrading successfully.

Fixed a synchronization issue where Tenable Network Monitor failed to correctly update plugin sets when managed by Tenable Security Center over slow links, ensuring the latest detection capabilities are applied.

Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.3 - 2026-01-27

The following are changed functionality and performance enhancements included in Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.3:

Updated the user interface to reflect the rebranding of Nessus Network Monitor (NNM) to Tenable Network Monitor (TNM).

Tenable Network Monitor does not require a proxy username or password for transparent network proxies.

Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.3 includes the following bug fixes:

Tenable Network Monitor on Windows now correctly detects the proxy service during upgrades from Tenable Vulnerability Management or a standard feed, which prevents an error message stating that the software update cannot include engine updates.

Updated the password change functionality to require users to provide their current password before making updates, which prevents unauthorized account takeovers if a session is compromised.

Tenable Network Monitor now prevents multiple simultaneous plugin download attempts when a connection to Tenable Security Center exceeds the maximum timeout.
