Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.1 - 2025-05-22

The following are changed functionality and performance enhancements included in Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.1:

Updated the product name from Tenable Nessus Network Monitor to Tenable Network Monitor.

Tenable Network Monitor now supports Red Hat Linux 8.10.
-
Tenable Network Monitor now supports modern ciphers, and no longer supports AES128-SHA and AES256-SHA.
-
Removed old plugins in the Tenable Network Monitor temp directory.

Tenable Network Monitor 6.5.1 includes the following bug fixes:

Fixed an issue with an unsafe OpenSSL initialization.

Fixed an issue where Tenable Network Monitor failed to properly set Access Control Lists (ACLs) for the installation directory tree.

Note: For all versions of Red Hat Linux ES and CentOS, Tenable Network Monitor requires that you have systemd and firewalld on your system.

Note: Tenable Network Monitor requires Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. You must download the specific package vc_redist.x64.exe from the Microsoft downloads site.
