Configure Data Sources
A data source is any product that feeds data into the Tenable Inventory interface. By default, Tenable Inventory automatically ingests data from any Tenable product for which you have a license.
You can configure the following Tenable products as data sources:

Access the Workspace.

Navigate to Tenable Vulnerability Management.

In the left navigation bar, select Scans.
The Scans page appears.

Click Create Scan.
The Select a Scan Template page appears.

Select the Active Directory Identity scan template.
The Create a Scan page appears with the Active Directory information.

Make sure that you provide the targets and credentials for the scans.

Click Save & Launch.
Tenable Vulnerability Management redirects you to the Scans page.

Click Create Scan.
The Create a Scan Template page appears.

Click Basic Network Scan.
The Create a Scan for Basic Network Scan page appears.

Make sure that you provide the targets you want to scan, administrator credentials to allow authenticated scan and the list of plugins that Tenable One requires.

Click Save & Launch.
Tenable Vulnerability Management now provides the scan data to Tenable Inventory.

Deploy Tenable Identity Exposure. For more information, see the Tenable Identity Exposure User Guide.

Deploy Tenable OT Security. For more information, see the Tenable OT Security User Guide.

Access the Workspace.

Navigate to Legacy Tenable Cloud Security.

In the left navigation bar, click > Connection > AWS account.

Follow the wizard to onboard AWS. For more information, see Onboard AWS Accounts.

Click Projects & Connections.
Legacy Tenable Cloud Security displays the list of projects.

In the row of the AWS project that you created, in the Actions column, click Run Scan > Cloud Scan, then select Run default scan profile. For more information, see Run Cloud Scans.
Legacy Tenable Cloud Security runs the scan and updates the scan status column of the project on completion of the scan.

Access the Workspace.

Navigate to Tenable Vulnerability Management.

In the left navigation bar, select Scans.
The Scans page appears.

Click Create Scan.
The Select a Scan Template page appears.

Click Basic Network Scan.
The Create a Scan for Basic Network Scan page appears.

Make sure that you provide the targets you want to scan, administrator credentials to allow authenticated scan and the list of Tenable Web App Scanning plugins that Tenable One requires.

Click Save & Launch.
Tenable Vulnerability Management now provides the scan data to Tenable One.
