Inventory

In Tenable Attack Surface Management, an inventory is where you view your organization's assets.

To view an existing inventory:

1. In Tenable Attack Surface Management, in the upper-right corner, click the Inventory drop-down list.

   

   Tenable Attack Surface Management displays the inventories in the drop-down list.

2. In the drop-down list, select the inventory you want to view.

   Your inventory appears.

Set a Default Inventory

You can specify a default inventory so that Tenable Attack Surface Management automatically loads your preferred data set every time you log in.

To set a default inventory:

1. In the top navigation bar, click the Inventory dropdown menu.

2. Locate the inventory you want to set as your default.

3. Click the (star) icon next to the inventory name.

   A tooltip appears: "Set as Default. This will replace current Default inventory."

   

4. Click the (star) icon to confirm.
   The star icon becomes solid, and a star icon now appears next to the inventory name in the main navigation bar to indicate it is your default view.

Note: You can change your default inventory at any time by selecting the star icon next to a different inventory in the list.
