Log in to Tenable One Identity Exposure

You access Tenable One Identity Exposure's web application through a client URL.

To log in to Tenable One Identity Exposure, select one of the following options:

Note: Your initial credentials with the username [email protected] and the password [email protected]!.

Using a Tenable One Identity Exposure account

To sign in with your Tenable One Identity Exposure account:

  1. In any browser, type your client URL (for example: client.tenable.ad) in the address bar.

    The Log in window appears.

  2. Click the Tenable One Identity Exposure tab.

  3. Type your email address.

  4. Type your password.

  5. Click Log in.

    The Tenable One Identity Exposure page opens.

Using an LDAP account

To sign in with LDAP:

  1. In any browser, type your client URL (for example: client.tenable.ad) in the address bar.

    The Log in window appears.

  2. Click the LDAP tab.

  3. Type your LDAP account name.

  4. Type your LDAP password.

  5. Click Log in.

    The Tenable One Identity Exposure page opens.

Using SAML

To sign in with SAML:

  1. In any browser, type your client URL (for example: client.tenable.ad) in the address bar.

    The Log in window appears.

  2. Click the SAML tab.

  1. Click on the link to your Identity Provider (IDP).

    Tenable One Identity Exposure redirects you to your SAML server for authentication.

  1. Enter your company credentials on your IDP.

    You get redirected to Tenable One Identity Exposure as a logged in user.

Caution: If your login fails repeatedly, Tenable One Identity Exposure locks your account. Contact your administrator.

To reset your password after the first login:

Note: The password information is not available if you have a Tenable One license, in which case Tenable One Vulnerability Management manages all your authentication settings. For more information, see Access Control in the Tenable One Vulnerability Management User Guide.

  1. In Tenable One Identity Exposure, at the top-right corner, click on your user profile icon.

    A submenu appears.

  2. Select My Account.

    The Preferences page appears.

  3. Under Preferences, click Credentials.

  4. In Old password, type the old password.

  5. In New Password, type a new password. Adhere to the following password complexity rules, which align with those required for Tenable One accounts:

    • Must be at least 12 characters long.

    • Must contain at least one of each of the following:

      • Uppercase letter (A-Z)

      • Lowercase letter (a-z)

      • Number (0-9)

      • Special character (e.g., !, @, #, $)

    • Cannot contain the string verysecure to prevent the reuse of the previous default password verySecure1!.

  1. In the New password confirmation box, retype the new password.

  2. Click Save.

    A message confirms that Tenable One Identity Exposure changed your password.

To sign out of Tenable One Identity Exposure:

  1. In Tenable One Identity Exposure. click on your user icon.

    A submenu appears.

  2. Click Sign out.

    Tenable One Identity Exposure returns to the Log in page.
